SPONSORS

“If I put enough money into the equipment and training we’ll get on the podium and get noticed.” We hear this all the time. No one likes to admit what they’ve spent and yet we all know racing is expensive. Investing into the equipment & coaching to get that top spot is absolutely possible, and hard. With only one availabe spot, you might be investing for a while.

Moving up the ladder by having sponsors (or being Lance Stroll), is an easier path. It’s a bridge that every professional driver has to cross and learning to cross it now lets you enjoy the benefits. Learn to sell the “green” flag instead of the “checkered” flag. Sponsors will pay for performance AND content.

We designed the Brand Media Kit to help Karters get sponsorship dollars the right way.

You’ve got a great story, and we’ll help you find the sponsor who wants to be a part of it.

A sponsorship conversation has three parts: startingsupporting, & closing.

The following components are designed to support the conversation and have produced sponsorship dollars.  They are well thought out touchpoints that show you’re a professional giving sponsors confidence.

30 to 60 minute video interview with Shannon Huneycutt to identify the driver’s brand. She learns who the driver is, on and off the track. This is a critical step as genuine, authentic, and engaging content is what sponsors will pay for. The driver’s brand influences all aspects of the Brand Media kit.

A customized outreach letter accompanied by an online playbook (client access only) that shows how to identify and research the right companies / contacts. This targeted approach has over a 75% response rate even with large brands.

Setup of up to (5) channels. Content guidance and suggestions to maximize support of sponsorship conversations. As this is the most valuable asset our online playbook focuses on ideas, software, and hardware to produce high quality content.

Professionally edited Hero Video showcasing driver’s personality and performance.

Custom website guided by the driver’s input. A unique design is produced by combining the color scheme of their kart with elements of their favorite drivers websites.

Custom proposal accompanied by an online playbook (client access only) highlighting the driver’s assets that support sponsorship.

The YABA Brand Media Kit is NOT for the the casual Karter.  It’s designed to support the Karter who wants to move up to the regional / national level and understands that sponsorship support is key to their program.

Yes, just like you could build your own kart, and learn the track without coaching. It’s possible but difficult and inefficient.

The Brand Media Kit provides a clear and proven path to sponsorship.

Three options to capture footage for the Hero Video:

  1. Film at GoPro Motorplex using our video team.
  2. Fly our video team to your location for filming.
  3. Find a local video team. We will provide a video standards document that includes best practices and a shot list to help you vet the right team. A $500 discount will be applied to your kit.

45 – 60 calendar days upon receipt of downpayment.

We are here to help you succeed and are always available to our clients to answer any questions you may have on how to get sponsorships.

An online playbook that provides clear step by step instructions on how to effectively use your Brand Media Kit is available to clients. It’s consistently updated with best practices for the current sponsorship environment.

We are partnered with Nitro-Kart, the winningest cadet kart constructer in the U.S. They understand branding and sponsorship is critical in becoming a complete asset to a race team.

Netflix is a huge brand and provided a Stranger Things care package. Even though this conversation didn’t turn into sponsorship funds, a relationship has been formed that will be maintained as we move up the ranks.

Bad Daddy’s, a regional casual burger chain brand,  initially provided a small donation and a gift card. The relationship has grown through the season where they actively promote hat signing events with access to all of their locations. These events raise funds and increase exposure through merchandise sales while increasing the driver’s online followers count.

TUMS, a global brand, took a year to respond. They provided (4) club / cold passes to the NASCAR Charlotte Roval Race which included hospitality and a package consisting of merchandise and TUMS. They also mentioned Madi’s program on Twitter providing additional exposure.
